Happiness is Homemade

So yesterday 3/19/12 was mine and Kendall's one year anniversary of dating. All I have to say is the past year has been amazing! I really don't think I could be any happier than I am now. He is the most loving, caring, sweetest, funniest, strongest person I know. He would do just about anything to see me happy. We have had our ups and downs but there have been sooo many more ups and the downs are just little stepping stones that we have to go through. I can't express my love for this boy and how I can't wait to spend many more years with him. We have something that I know will last for a VERY VERY long time!!

On a side note....


I am soooo excited today!! Kendall and I are going to look at a new motorcycle tonight!! He really wants a bigger one because the one he has now is just a little small for long trips, so he is hoping that we can get one that will be a little easier on the both of us. If we get this bike... we will hopefully sell the one he has now pretty quick.... Can't wait to go look at this motorcycle!!!

Say a little Prayer

My friend Lauren text messaged me this morning and told me that she has been at Vanderbilt since yesterday afternoon. She is currently 39 1/2  weeks pregnant with her first child. Her name is going to be Elizabeth Anne Kennedy. But back to what I was really writing about. She told me that she has 5 kidney stones in one kidney and 6 in the other and one lodged between her kidney and bladder. She said they are wanting to put a tube in her back to relieve the pressure because that is where the one is lodged at. She said they have given her medication but she is still very uncomfortable. They are waiting on her OB doc to come in and let them know if they will be having Miss Elizabeth today or if they will go ahead with the plan for her kidney stones first. I know everything will be fine but I just want everyone to say a little prayer for her and Elizabeth and that they will both be okay and healthy after all this is over with.

My Birthday!!

Well we had my birthday party this weekend up at Kerri and Justins. Lots of friends came out and we cooked out and had a big bonfire!! I love that I got to see so many of my friends that I never get to see anymore. I really miss them!! But we had such a great time playing corn hole and catching up. I can't say thank you enough for everyone that came out to celebrate!! It really meant a lot to me.

Sunday Kendall and I went and cleaned up on the ridge and then headed to my Nanny and Papa's to eat some good cooking! We had ribs, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and roasted potatoes. And not to mention red velvet cake! Ahh my favorite. After we got done spending time with my family we headed to Kendall's parents and I got to sit and talk with Judy, BooBoo, and Sara while the boys and the kids went and got dirt for Sydney's experiment that she is doing! I love getting to spend time with everyone on the weekends. Family time is always good :)

I am very new to this so it might take me a while to get everything going, but I am very excited to get started with my first blog!! I don't have the most exciting life but maybe I can come up with some interesting things to write about :) Stay tuned!
